"We Save the Day When Your Customers Pay"

Collecting from your customers just got 10 times easier and 10 times cheaper...

Busi-ness Be-ware:
a. collect from customers who won't pay, see also tardy customer
b. your source to make bully customers cry
c. collect ALL money from customer and pay no percentage

Have a unruly customer that made you want to pull your hair out and you think others should know about them?

Let's face it, the customer is not always right especially those that want all things for free and cost your business money. If there is a customer that you have had it with then you can file a complaint against them here and warn your fellow businesses about them. Customers pre-qualify businesses with the Better Business Bureau, Angie's List, etc. so this is where you can pre-qualify your customers before a job.

Here's how it works:

  1. Sign up and register for a membership
  2. Log in and select "file a complaint"
  3. Fill out all information requested
  4. Click yes/no for letter to be submitted to customer, submit it
  5. Once filled, we will review it and make sure it meets our terms of use
  6. After it's reviewed it can be seen in the database
  7. If yes was selected, then a letter will be sent to the customer for a chance for them to file a rebuttal

Many people want the letter sent out so they can get the communication started with that customer or maybe for other reasons... This allows you to work out a situation with them rather than resorting to litigation and/or warn business owners about customers that just cannot be pleased.

How can this help me pre-qualify a customer?

Well as a business owner you have to or should pre-qualify your customers before a job to make sure they are a fit with your business. Customers pre-qualify your business don't they? It's the same thing. If you are about to work with a customer you are a little hesitant wouldn't it be nice to know more about them if they did have a history of not paying, breaking the contract or is just a nightmare? Well this is your source to network with other businesses to let each other know about your customers that have become a problem so they can "beware" of them. That way you can determine if you want to work with them or not or at least have a heads up going into the situation.

What do the complaints look like?

Here is a demo of what the complaints will look like.

Customer's First Name: John
Customer's Last Name: Doe
Address: 1900 Anywhere St.
County/State: Dade/FL
Zip Code: 34029
Rating: 4
Filed Complaint: We completed remodeling renovations to a his house which was four weeks ago and he has yet to pay us. He also said that he would not pay us for the extra overtime hours we put in, even though we had to because he changed his mind with the original contract.

*Remember this is a fake complaint, there is no John Doe at this address nor is the address real...

What does the rebuttal look like?

Rebuttal: When and if a customer files a rebuttal, it will be placed below the complaint and look like this:

Rebuttal Filed by: John Doe

Filed Rebuttal: I did not think that I should pay for the overtime hours because it was not in the original contract. However, I will send in my payment because I know that this business worked hard and did a great job. (now some or rebuttals would not be like this, but wouldn't it be awesome if they were??)

*John Doe is not a real customer nor did he file a rebuttal...

Need to collect from a customer who owes your business money?

We offer a service we call the "beware letter" that acts as a collection letter. We send it out to your customer that owes you money. It basically let's them know that you want to collect the money that's owed to you and if they don't pay then you will file them on the website as a "no pay" customer. Most don't want to be put on the site so other businesses can be warned of them so they usually break out the checkbook. When you collect your money from the customer we don't charge a percentage like an agency would (usually 20-50%), that way you put all the money back into your pocket.

Here's how the process goes:

  1. Sign up and register for a membership
  2. Log in and select "send first free beware letter"
  3. Fill out all information about where the letter is to be sent, invoice # etc.
  4. Once submitted we will contact you and let you know that we received the info.
  5. Letter sent to customer

Yes, it's that easy. Once the letter is sent out we let you know if the customer contacts us and if they contact you then you just let us know.

How many letters can I send?

The first letter is free. If you want to send out more than one we have different options available for you. It basically covers our cost to print and mail the letters.

8 Letters

$10

15 Letters

$20

20 Letters

$25

*we do have bulk pricing available for larger businesses. For pricing, send us and email at support@businessbeware.biz

Can this be used as a B2B?

Absolutely. Just fill out the information the same as you would for the customer but provide the business name and who to put the attention to.

If the customer doesn't pay after the letter is sent what's next?

If the customer does not respond to the "beware letter" that's sent out (which can always happen especially if they're stubborn from the beginning) then you can always go ahead and file the complaint against them. Another letter would be sent out (if you choose that option of course) to let them know that their name has been placed on the website. Usually they know you mean business when a complaint is filled and that you weren't kidding around. The customer does have the chance to file a rebuttal if they choose or of course they will pay you. See below for a visual presentation of what we just said:

**We are not a collections agency. We provide the letter to send to customers to let them know who we are and that they might be placed on our site if they choose not to pay your business. We are just an umpire between businesses and customers.
