Robert Bodi is the Founder/ President of Business Beware. Robert has been a business owner for over 30 years in the service industry. Over these years he has received numerous awards for his work, including the “Sports Turf Manager Association Field of the Year” Award in 1997 as well as written articles for STMA. He has taught classes at local colleges and has the following certifications: Irrigation Contractor, Landscape Irrigation Auditor, Irrigation Designer, Golf Irrigation Auditor and the Irrigation Association. Robert started Business Beware to help fellow businesses warn each other about problem customers.

“Our goal is to shed light to businesses, who are trying to work hard and do a good service for customers, but have had to deal with slow paying customers, customers who will not pay, and customers who you cannot please.” -Robert

Ashley Bodi is the co-founder and creator of Business Beware. She majored in Communications and Marketing while also playing volleyball in college. After coming back from working on a documentary in Los Angeles she remembered the idea Robert told her when she got out of school and was ready to pursue "BusinessBeware.biz." While working on the site, she started her own business with editing and design, while also working for the family business. It was working for the family businesses that she really grew a passion for creating Business Beware.

"Not everyone always sees or knows how the customers treat the business owners unless you are in their shoes. My eyes were opened when I started working with the family businesses and saw how certain customers would take advantage of a business and the owner. It was then that I realized that something needed to be done. I am constantly amazed at the great feedback we receive from businesses and even customers! I knew this would be a great thing but had no idea just how many people it would help out like it has, so I am very grateful to be a part of this and help fellow businesses."
