Collect from slow, late or no-pay customers and warn fellow business owners about problematic customers.

When you collect the money from your customer you don't pay a percentage like you would to a collection agency, you keep all the money. Save your business time, money and headaches when dealing with customers who have become a problem.

Non-Paying Customers...

If you have a customer who is stubborn and you have been trying to collect from you should try our collection letter. Most agencies require you to pay a 20-50% when you use their service, if you collect from your customer and use our letter you don't owe us a thing. What is Business Beware?

Business Beware gives businesses the chance to tell their side of the story and collect from customers who are slow to pay.

For more information go to How it Works

How do I use Business Beware?

  • Searching the database/Filing a complaint: It’s simple.  Before you take on a job you can pre-qualify your customers to see if they have caused problems for fellow businesses before.  So you can decide if you want to do business with that customer based on what was said about them.
  • Send a "beware letter": If you have a customer you don't necessarily want to file a complaint against but just want collect money from then you can send them our "beware letter" that acts as a collection letter or technically a "pre-warning letter."

What's included in the membership?

You have access to search all complaints/rebuttals that have been filed. You can file as many complaints as you want and are able to send out "beware letters" to customers you need to collect money from.

You will also have access to all of our resources, articles, shows and some great promotional options for your business too.

Does Business Beware edit the report I post?

No. We do not edit any of the reports. We check every post that is made to make sure each member follows our terms and conditions.

The only reason we would take the post down is:
1. We find that the post is offensive or vulgar
2. BOTH parties work out their situation and want the post taken down
3. The member decides to take it down with no rebuttal filed

What is the Privacy Policy?

We respect your privacy and take responsibility of protecting the personal information that you share with us very seriously.

For more information about our terms and conditions click here.

Do you have to be a member to file complaints on Business Beware?

Yes. Before you can search or file a complaint you have to register with Business Beware and become a member. Customers do not have to be a member to file a rebuttal.

Do I have to be a business to use Business Beware?

Yes. When you sign up you will be asked to fill in your business and contact information. This site is not for just anyone to rant and rave about someone that made them angry. If you fill out the information incorrectly or we find it to be false in any way, your registration information will be deleted.

If I send a "beware letter" out to my customer do you follow up with them or make sure they received it?

No. We do not follow up with the customer because we are not a collection agency. We will however let you know if the customer contacted us via email or by letter.

Do you send a copy of the complaints or beware letters that I file on your site to me by email or mail?

No. But if you would like a copy of the letter/complaint than we can send you one by email in pdf format.

I received a "beware letter," does this mean a complaint has been filed against me?

No. The "beware letter" simply states that the business owner wants to collect their overdue payment but will consider placing you on the site if you choose to ignore it.

I do not want my name posted on here and I don't think it's fair to post against customers.

It is very fair. Customers need to be held to the same standard as businesses have been held to all of these years. And you as the customer can file a rebuttal to state your side as well.
