"Thank you so much for starting this service! It has helped us tremendously with getting our clients to pay and not having to use a collections agency! Cheers to you and thank you!!" -Susie/Orlando, FL
"A friend told me about this service and I had to try it out. After the letter was sent, the customer sent in their check three days later! I will be telling all of my business friends about this! Thank you!"
Ted/ Houston, TX
"Your last resort is to use collections and if it's a big job with a big price tag you owe them 20% when you do collect. It definitely adds up when you think about how much your materials, gas, payroll etc. so you need every penny as a business. Thank you for helping us out and not collecting the percentage when we collect! Means more than you know!"
Jenny/ Pasadena, CA
**Also note that we are not a "collection agency" we are merely a way to help you resolve an issue between you and the customer. Make sure to read our terms of use as well. And if you happen to have more than five people you want to send a letter to, we will require you to just help us out with the postage.
Collection Agencies Are Good But...
As a business after you complete the work or job, you want to get paid right? Well as we all know sometimes this does not happen right away with some customers. After sending out late notice after late notice sometimes you have to go to your last resort to use a collections agency. With using collections, they send out a letter to the customer letting them know that they need to pay the business asap. If the letter is successful and the money is paid back to the business, the business has to pay in a percentage (usually between 20-35%) back to the agency for collecting their money. Most of the time this does work but the only downfall is that you as a business have to pay a portion out of the money you were originally trying to collect for your work. And when you own a business you to retain all the money from those jobs, to cover your expenses you spent in completing that job.
So How Can Business Beware Help Me Out?
Do you have any customers that have ignored your request for payment? Have they also ignored a "late notice"? You might not want to post this customer on our website until you have let us send them a letter stating that they will be posted on the website "if" they do not pay. An official letter from "Business Beware" might just be the nudge that your customer might need to send in their payment. They may not want to risk being listed on a website such as ours. This letter could almost serve as a "collection" letter, except we would not be keeping any % of your money! Customers use the Better Business Bureau as leverage to get what they want if they are not happy, so why not use Business Beware as your leverage. See more testimonials about our site and the collection letter.
